    Founders of Lifeline Community Services & Economic Development Corporation (LCSED), CEO Dr. Charles Dorsey and Dr. Lisa Dorsey have over a 20 year history of community service. They had a vision to help people in every aspect needed including education, housing, job training, sober living, day care and feeding the hungry. They are involved in community service for all the right reasons. They have personally learned God’s purpose for building people up by serving, helping to build healthy relationships, and helping to shape a healthy community. LCSED became a reality in 2001 moving from Azusa, California to serve in the city of Altadena, California in 2004. Our founders believe people can gain a greater sense of belonging to the community from volunteering their time in community service projects helping people that they have never interacted with before.
